Video: Kia Optima EX 2.0 Review

This is the one you’ve all been waiting for – GC Mah’s appearance and a review of the very attractive package that is the Kia Optima EX.

Love it or hate it, you can’t deny that for a RM139,888, it’s a lot of car for the money – not just in metal but in features and equipment too – effectively making it a D-segment car for C-segment money.

We had a ride in it before GC Mah set off to shoot the review and aside from lacking leather seats, something we all unanimously agreed wasn’t that big a deal, it’s possibly one of the most complete cars (in terms of features and size) you could buy in the sub-RM140k bracket.

And it wasn’t like it wasn’t underpowered either, something most would assume considering it’s such a big car with only a 2.0-litre engine putting out 163 hp and 196 Nm, because it isn’t.

As for how it drives, we’ll leave GC Mah to share with you.

Regularly spend countless hours online looking at cars and parts I can't afford to buy. How a car makes you feel behind the wheel should be more important than the brand it represents - unless resale value is your thing.
